Secret of Mana: Change Form - Pygmy-Moogle is a hack for the Super Nintendo that modifies the Change Form ability to include Pygmy and Moogle transformations. Originally limited to enemies, this feature now affects player characters, transforming them into weaker moogles unless equipped otherwise. Certain enemies can also cast this spell on players, enhancing gameplay dynamics. Compatibility with various patch formats is included.

This hack makes Change Form to cause Pygmy and Moogle effects, in addition to its original Transform effect. In the original game, Change Form only affected enemies (temporarily transformed some enemies into weaker enemies). Now, it can affect your characters (changes them into small, weak moogles, unless you had equipment to prevent that).
In addition, some enemies can now cast Change Form on you (in the original game, no enemies nor bosses cast Change Form). See the attached document for detail.

- Compatible with Relocalized and VWF.

- Highly recommended that you check out Queue's [Secret of Mana Turbo] hack compilation. It has all of hmsong's hacks (enhanced versions), as well as a LOT of others (some of which make the game significantly better). It even fixes most of the glitches and shortcomings that were present in the original game. And you can toggle which hacks to use (very user-friendly). It is by FAR the best SoM hack.
- Hmsong's hacks in Romhacking.net may be slightly different than the ones in Queue's Turbo hack. That's because the stand-alone hacks are unable to use lots of features that were available in the Turbo hack.

Monsters that had one of their spells replaced with Change Form:
- Mystic Book Energy Absorb --> Change Form
- Beast Zombie Speed Down --> Change Form
- Dark Stalker Acid Storm --> Change Form
- Chamber's Eye Freeze --> Change Form
- Vampire Freeze (one enemy) --> Change Form (all enemies)
- Buffy Freeze (one enemy) --> Change Form (all enemies)
