Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes is a fan-created ROM hack of the Super Nintendo role-playing game Chrono Trigger, developed by Kajar Laboratories. Set between the original Chrono Trigger and its sequel Chrono Cross, this unofficial game expands the Chrono series narrative. Its release was anticipated for May 31, 2009, but a cease and desist letter from Square Enix derailed those plans.
