Final Fantasy III: False Knight is a fan-made patch for the Super Nintendo game Final Fantasy III, also known as Final Fantasy VI in Japan. The patch addresses a bug associated with the True Knight relic, which allows party members to block attacks for allies on the brink of death. The fix ensures that characters return to the correct position in the lineup after a missed attack, enhancing gameplay consistency.
Party members can wear the True Knight relic, and it'll allow them to shield allies who are Near Fatal from attacks. If the attack misses, the guarding party member will be incorrectly drawn under or over neighboring allies when they return to the line-up. This patch ensures that they will be drawn correctly.

PURPOSE:
The True Knight Relic allows party members to intercept incoming attacks against their Near Fatal comrades. Sometimes, though, the attack can still miss, and if that happens, the guarding character will return to the line-up, but will often be incorrectly shown in front of or behind the neighbouring party members. This patch keeps everything on the straight and narrow.
