This is a change to the Namingway Edition that aims to change all the spells and skill names to the original US release. This does not include the summon abilities like Diamond Dust for instance but it does change the summons' names themselves for instance Ifrit back to Jinn.
This applies only to the usable abilities/spells. This does not include enemy abilities although the changed spell names will apply to them too.
This was made for the purpose of restoring the old FF4 US feel when you're in combat, if you are used to the original spell names, or you just like the original names whilst wanting to play the Namingway Edition.
The original Namingway Edition can be found here: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2337/
Affected Names
-White Magic Spells
-Black Magic Spells
-Summon Magic
-Ninjitsu Techniques
