Final Fantasy V: Galuf Gaffe is a glitch fix patch for the Super Nintendo version of Final Fantasy V. This patch addresses an issue occurring after the Barrier Tower event where Galuf, if designated as the party leader, appears twice when the party reforms. The patch corrects sprite updates to ensure accurate representation of the party leader during this scene. Additional patches are available for various ROM configurations.
After the Barrier Tower explodes, Galuf waits to see if Xezat made it out. The rest of your party reforms...and if Galuf was the leader, you'll see two Galufs on the screen. This patch ensures that the leader sprite is properly updated in this particular event.

PURPOSE:
At the end of the Barrier Tower mission, Galuf leaves your party momentarily for a period of mourning for Xezat's death. However, if he was the lead member of your party, he will still appear as the lead member when the rest of your party rejoins, giving you...two Galufs?! GREAT SCOTT! This patch ensures that any changes to the lead member entering or leaving your party are shown accurately.
VERSION HISTORY:
v1.3 (June 6, 2017): Added PS1 patches.
v1.2 (November 28, 2016): Fixed an oversight, whereby the leader's sprite isn't updated after Galuf rejoins either.
v1.1 (November 27, 2016): Remodeled to change the event script instead of the assembly code.
v1.0 (November 25, 2016): Initial release.
