Final Fantasy III: Loud Music is a fan patch for the Super Nintendo title Final Fantasy III, addressing a music bug in the Opera House where lobby music plays at full volume instead of being muffled. By adding an event trigger, the patch immediately adjusts the volume upon entering. It also removes an unused event trigger near Kefka's Tower. Multiple patches are available for different ROM types.
When you enter the Opera House from the World Map, the organ ragtime background music in the lobby plays too loudly. It's supposed to be muffled in the lobby and normal in the theatre, but entering from the World Map, you can hear that it's normal in the lobby. This patch adds an event trigger at the entrance that quiets the music down while removing an event trigger from Kefka's Tower that allows party 3 to grab an invisible hook.

Depends on your aural sensitivity. :)
PURPOSE:
In the Opera House, music is supposed to play quietly in the lobby and loud in the actual auditorium. However, due to a bug, when you enter the Opera House from the World Map, the music plays at full volume and does not quiet down unless you enter the theatre and then return to the lobby. This patch adds an event trigger to the entrance tile in the lobby, thus forcing the music to quiet down immediately.
As a size-reducing side effect, this patch also removes an event trigger that shouldn't exist. It is located near the entrance to Kefka's Tower; there is a place where party 3 can stand and grab a hook that isn't there, in order to return to the airship.
