Final Fantasy III: Morph Mayhem is a patch for the Super Nintendo version of Final Fantasy III designed to correct two key bugs related to the Morph mechanic. The patch ensures that Terra's Morph supply does not deplete when she is removed from battle and addresses issues with the automatic Revert command, enhancing gameplay dynamics by preventing unwanted Morph status during specific conditions.
When Terra's Morph supply runs out, the game queues up the Revert command automatically to remove her Morph status. However, if she is Stopped, asleep or frozen when the gauge runs out, or if someone else is using Quick, she will not Revert. Also, if she leaves battle for any reason while Morphed, her Morph supply will still continue to deplete. This patch fixes both of these issues simultaneously.

URGENCY:
High.
PURPOSE:
There are two Morph-related bugs that are fixed by this patch. First, if Terra is removed from battle for any reason while Morphed, the game will still continue to deplete her Morph supply until it is gone. This patch removes Morph status from Terra when she is removed from battle, so her Morph supply is no longer affected.
Second, if Terra's Morph supply runs out while she is asleep, Stopped or Frozen, or while someone else is using Quick, her automatic Revert command will be overridden and she will remain in Morph mode unless Reverted manually. This patch stops the Morph supply from depleting in the cases of Stop and Quick, for logical reasons, and re-queues Revert in the cases of Sleep and Frozen.
