Final Fantasy III: Self Sneeze is a fan-made patch for the Super Nintendo title released in 1994, addressing an exploit involving the character Relm's Control ability. The patch ensures Control terminates under all intended conditions, such as the use of the Sneeze ability. Available for both headered and non-headered ROMs, the patch enhances gameplay integrity while retaining the original experience.
Relm has the ability to Control enemies by equipping a Relic called the Fake Moustache. This Control is broken whenever either entity dies or the Controlled enemy gets physically attacked; however, there are several ways in which one entity can be removed from the battle and the Control link will remain. This patch negates all of those ways and makes Control break when it should.

PURPOSE:
Relm usually has Sketch as her secondary command, but if she equips the Fake Mustache Relic, it changes to Control. Control allows Relm to choose what actions a Controlled monster takes during battle. At least one monster has Sneeze as an available action, which ejects the target from the battle. However, if either Relm or the monster is Sneezed from battle, Control will not terminate as expected. Control also doesn't terminate if Relm runs or either entity Jumps. This patch fixes these problems.
VERSION HISTORY:
v2.0 (April 22, 2016): Apparently the last version still wasn't complete. The new version incorporates Novalia Spirit's superior "Remote Control" patch while also fixing a related bug with Palidor.
v1.1 (June 2, 2015): Fixed the patch to account for all of the above scenarios.
v1.0 (June 1, 2015): Initial release. This release only fixed the bug where Sneeze was concerned.
