Super Mario World: No Music Edition is a fan-made modification of the original Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This hack removes all in-game music, retaining only the sound effects and certain fanfares. It enables players to enjoy their own music while experiencing the game. Released in July 2020 during the SMW Central Summer C3 event, it features a modified title screen.
This hack removes all music from the game, except for the keyhole, iris out, Bowser zoom in and zoom out fanfares. Useful if you want to listen to other music while being able to hear the sound effects. Besides that and the addition of text to the title screen, no other changes were made to the game.
Originally made in April 2020 and was later released during the SMW Central Summer 2020 C3 event in July.
