Super Metroid: Unstuck - Unlock Tourian Doors is a gameplay modification for the Super Nintendo version of Super Metroid that allows players to unlock two locked doors in Tourian, the final area of the game. This hack facilitates safe backtracking to Crateria and enables saving at previously inaccessible points, benefiting both new and existing save files.
Have you saved your game in Super Metroid but are stuck in the final area: Tourian?
This simple improvement hack will unlock the 2 doors which prevent you from back travelling. As the final save point is normally after the 2 locked doors, this will now allow you to use it safely and allow back travel to Crateria.
Note: This will also work for existing save files. For save states you must load the state, then save the game at a designated save point and reload the game (a save state will load the old doors).
