Super Mario World: Super Mario World 2 is a ROM hack for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, created by 1UPDUDES. Serving as a sequel to Super Mario World, this expansion features approximately 90 levels across 10 worlds, incorporating a distinct graphical style. Players guide Mario on a quest to rescue the kidnapped Princess while discovering numerous secrets and overcoming various challenges.
The Princess is once again kidnapped. With "Mario's" biggest enemy gone who could of kidnapped the Princess? "Mario" sets out on a brand new adventure to find who is responsible!
NOTE - May have issues in SNES9x, worked fine on ZSNES.
The sequel to my other hack;
Super "Mario" World
VERSION 1.4 FINAL FIX
This hack is much longer and has a lot more custom stuff in than the first. It also uses my own GFX style. If you enjoyed S"M"W1 you'll enjoy this for sure!
Super "Mario" World 2 By 1UPDUDES
-Version 1.4 Fix
This hack is the sequel to my other hack (Super "Mario" World) >
The hack is about 90 levels long roughly, and features a whole new GFX style
unlike the first hack which still used orignal SMW resources.
With 10 worlds to play and plenty of secrets to find I hope you enjoy playing
the hack. This read me also includes some things such as minor bugs and a few
other things.
Little side not, not that it is important byt the GFX are not to be used in other
hacks. It's what makes my hack "special" to some degree... ;3
Enough reading, get playing ^.^

---------------
Credits are located in at the end of World 10. Which I must thank a lot of
people so if you were not included Im sorry ;__; Just drop me a PM on SMWC
if you have any questions or whatnot.
Minor Bugs:
- Any orignally in SMW that are still there in many other hacks
- Level Tiles B, 1C and 128 are already present on the OW without any event triggers
due to a glitch where there events where not making them appear and messing
up other levels events.
- World 5's boss has a hit counter, which has a slightly bad pallette
- World 6's mid-bosses BG doesnt fade away at end of level
( creates a cool looking zoom out effect o_o' )
- World 8's final boss can go offscreen in the scrolling section however
if you reach the end of that section without it the level still works just it
may not make much sense
- In World 10's "When Worlds Collide Level" the New Age Retro Hippie section
requires all sprites off screen. If you have Goshi just dump him in the pit to
continue. (This should be clear for common hack players/moderators)
- In World 10's boss on the last section when SPOILER-
the bosses "fist" hits the ground after been hit twice will make tremours which
makes you be able to fall through the platform. This is actually something I
wanted to happen and makes the fight a tad bit trickier
All these bugs are really minor and won't really effect or damage gameplay to
any degree really. I just stated them anyway just in case people where
curious to why stuff happens.
