Super R-Type is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up game developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. As the R-9, players must navigate seven challenging stages to combat the BYDO Empire. Familiar stage bosses from previous R-Type titles reappear, and players can collect power-ups to enhance their ship's capabilities. The R-9 can also combine with FORCE units for protection and offensive power.
