Final Fantasy III: True Duel is a modification for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System that enhances the Colosseum feature in the game. Unlike the original version where commands are randomly selected by the game engine, this patch allows players to manually choose commands for their characters, except for Umaro. This update aims to improve player strategy and enjoyment during duels.
The Colosseum allows a duel between two opponents. Unfortunately, you can't give commands to your character. It is randomly chosen by the game engine. The algorithm which choose the commands doesn't consider their usefulness.
This patch skips the automatic selection of commands for the character. With Umaro's exception, you can freely choose the commands for your character in the Colosseum.
