Final Fantasy III: Turn Around is a modification for the Super Nintendo game Final Fantasy III, designed to fix a specific bug at Fanatics Tower. When facing MagiMaster, the party's turning behavior can malfunction based on their direction. This patch ensures proper alignment when facing the enemy, enhancing gameplay efficiency. It also introduces new movement event script codes for modders.
Before you begin fighting MagiMaster atop the Fanatics' Tower, your party is supposed to slowly turn to face him. However, this only works properly if your party is either facing down or to the right; otherwise, the party will turn in another direction before facing him. This patch ensures that your party always turns correctly regardless of what direction they are facing.
This patch is categorized as a Bug Fix because it fixes a bug; however, this is a product of the new feature it introduces, which is eight new movement event script codes that can be used by hackers as they see fit.

PURPOSE:
When MagiMaster sneaks up behind the party atop the Fanatics Tower, the party is supposed to slowly turn around 180 degrees counterclockwise; this is coded with the expectation that the party is currently facing away from him. If they are facing toward him, they will actually turn away and then back again. If they are facing left, they will face right and then toward him. This patch ensures that the party wastes no time turning toward MagiMaster.
