NBA 2K2 is a basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by Sega Sports. Released on October 24, 2001, for Sega Dreamcast, it was later adapted for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube in 2002. This installment introduced new street courts while retaining classic ones from NBA 2K1. Notably, it marked the series' first multi-platform release and features Allen Iverson on the cover.

NBA 2K2 featured more street courts such as Mosswood, Fonde Rec Center, Venice Beach, etc. The game still featured the old street courts like in the previous game NBA 2K1.
