StarTropics is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1990. Players assume the role of Mike Jones, a young baseball player who travels to a tropical island to visit his uncle, an archaeologist. When Mike learns of his uncle's mysterious disappearance, he embarks on a quest involving puzzles and combat against various foes to rescue him and uncover the secrets behind the abduction.
